For my speech, the issue that I chose seemed common within the class. In general, my verbal and nonverbal ratings were in similar range and some good examples. From the evaluations that I got, I did well on staying consistent with my arguments and using logical examples. Also, the rhetorical question that I used in the beginning, the quote, and the statistics that I used strengthened my speech. However, there were many suggestions for improvements as well. I need to talk louder, be more enthusiastic about my topic to engage the audience, be more confident, and make more eye contact. Also, some examples need more support to make it less vague. Lastly, I could learn a lot from the evaluations that I got and my speech seemed to be pretty good in general.
